Bio

Through the practice of yoga I have transformed my body many times over. I rely on it daily to align my spine and create more space, not only in my body, but in my breath and mind. And somehow, 15 years after my first downward dog, I am still intrigued and ravenous for more.

I received my 200-hour certification from OM Yoga Center, where I trained with Cindy Lee. I also learned maha sadhana (the great practice) from Dharma Mittra and learned Judith Lasater’s restorative yoga from her many devotees at OM. I have studied with Nevine Michaan at Katonah Yoga for many years. The perpetual student, I continue to explore therapeutic and restorative asanas, yin yoga, stamina-building vinyasa practices, anusara yoga and various methods to access all parts of the body. I enjoy teaching vinyasa flow classes, which are very approachable yet challenging and work simultaneously to strengthen and open the body. When coupled with a restorative practice, the body can expunge pent up stress and tension, leaving students renewed in body and mind.
